I don't know what rock I've been hiding under, but I just realized yesterday that Super Bowl is this Sunday. Like I've said...not a sports person. I'm one of those spectators who watch the game for the commercials. Big creativity.
I'm peeved at our local PBS affiliate...their fundraising interfered with Jane Austen (how dare they?). I knew I wouldn't be able to watch Mansfield Park this week, so I set the VCR to record it --when I sat down to watch it after school last night (avoiding the State of the Union--we know what state it's in) what do I see? Fundraising and Wayne Dyer. Grrr. No offense, Dr. Dyer...I just wanted to see the kinder and gentler Austen series. Not happy...

Oh, I saw that cheeseball plate at Tina's site, so cute! And I love your bowl of cherries. I've been buying them lately, so good. Thank you for stopping by to see me often.

I have four of those brown plates. My attempt to start collecting brown along with my blue.

What a surprise as I was reading your blog to see cherries and pomegranates....I, too, have a small pewter dishes of cherries and 3 pomegranates in a blue and white dish......could we be related? Betty @ Country Charm
The tray of pomegranates is exquisite. What a charming way to display them!
