It's a Friday off, so it's my turn to host craft day...and it's an absolutely beautiful day here in Evansville. The temperature currently is in the low 60's, and the dewpoint is low...unusual, but so delightful.
What to do, what to do? I finally (finally, finally) finished the knitted wrap last night. I really can't remember when I started it, but it was at least 3 years ago. I had just taken up knitting again and we were snowed in for Christmas...it was the winter I taught my daughter how to knit and she was makin' those needles click! For some reason or other, we had several skeins of the same color of Lion Brand Homespun...I vowed to use up all of it on this wrap. I used a solid color with the homespun, so this was a hefty project...just plain knitting, nothing fancy. It got to the point where it was so heavy to work with, but I kept plugging along...now it's ready for those cold winter nights. Yay!
Time for a cup of coffee on the back steps...and more pondering on 'what should I make today?'

I sure could use your beautifully knitted wrap right now. All of my windows are open (for the fresh air), but I'm COLD!! (grabbing robe) 58 degrees here!
Have a blessed day!

Your knitted wrap is lovely, Teresa...just love the soft colors. I've used Lion Brand's Homespun on many a project--for an acrylic yarn, it is very soft and cozy. Enjoy your kick-back time...Happy weekend ((HUGS))
