Pink Saturday

For some odd reason, this week I've been absolutely fascinated with small travel trailers. It's just one of those things...I've never had an inclination to camp---outdoor living is really not my style. I've noticed a few of these small trailers on blogs...people have turned them into craft studios, offices, and what I would call playhouses on wheels. How cute would one of these look parked beside my favorite Katrina cottage? I've been obsessed with those for well over a year. I'm sure my trailer obsession won't last that long, but in the meantime, I've browsed through Trailer Travel: A Visual History of Mobile America. Some of those little "teardrop" trailers are pretty cute, too.

Visit Beverly at How Sweet the Sound for more Pink Saturday posts.

I too have recently been drawn to the little trailers. I would love a little cottage to live in. Not so much housework then.

I am with you on the camping thing. My idea of camping is a beautiful Country Inn where you have to share a bath with another room. That's as rustic as I want to be!

Love that Katrina cottage. Have a good and restful holiday weekend.

There is something very charming about those little trailers, but I agree with you, camping is not my idea of fun. A pink one would make the most precious studio, though.

I am not a fan of outdoor living either!!

I would have loved for my parents to buy me a trailer to play in as a child. Oh what fun that would have been.

Happy Pink Saturday!

take care,
Dawn

Teresa, I know exactly what you mean. I have recently been drawn to these, too. They are so enticing.

And, I am definitely not one for "roughing it". My idea of roughing it is having a regular hotel room instead of a suite.

Maybe I could have one just to play in in my back yard.

Oh! You're the one who got me hooked on those Katrina cottages! I knew that it was one of my blogging pals. I must be traveling in the same blogging circles that you are because I've seen the most darling trailers, too, and I don't like camping either. But to use for a little writing get-away or blogging get-away would be great!

I would LOVE to have one as little craft studio or even a guest room.

Now maybe I'd go camping if I could use a pink camper like that one. :)

I too love the vintage pink travel trailers. I have a travel trailer but I had to settle for the ultra light ones with a bathroom inside. My girlfriends and I have a blast in it. Happy Pink Sat.

I love those little trailers too despite the fact that I am also anti-camping. It would be so much fun to refurbish one and use it as a little getaway spot. :o)

Oh I want one too! A perfect little cozy place to decorate and play! It's like a dollhouse for grown up girls :)

Catching Up

It's been awhile...as usual, not much going on.  As I look through photos on my phone, I decided to do a little blog post. Last Monday...
