Last Thursday Scott, our favorite volunteer, brought in roses for each of us...his Random Act of Kindness (sponsored by a local radio station). We all put them in a vase until the workday ended. Yesterday morning when I went in to work, there were three lone roses still in the vase, heads drooped. I snipped them off, thinking of drying them, or using them in a potpourri for color. Instead, I took pictures.
September seems to be flying by...I can't believe how quickly the year is coming to an end. Nesting instincts kick in around the first part of October for me and carry through the holiday season. There's no place like home.

I agree, there's no place I'd rather be than my home ...
Margie :)
I am a big homebody myself! Teresa let me know when you get your package for the swap-
I think snuggling up with a quilt on your couch with a big fire in the fireplace is a wonderful thing. I feel better in the cooler weather. I hope you saved your roses. That was so sweet of your friend.
I love that photo. Faded roses and pearls. It is just such a perfect composition!
