Visiting Swedish blogs...one of my favorite things! It would be much nicer if I could read the blog posts, but the pictures posted are just so beautiful no translation is necessary. If you haven't, visit some of these blogs(three great ones are listed in my sidebar)...it's almost as good as a trip abroad.
Today's simple pleasure...worldly armchair travels.

Hi Teresa! I'm a little behind in my blog reading so I'm just seeing this. I love the idea and will gladly play along. We all need a moment's peace during this chaotic time (and I don't mean just the holidays!) ~Kathy
I just loved this collage. I used to have a Swedish blog listed. Wonder when I jettisoned it???
Very pretty collage! I have started the Simple Pleasures also. Armchair travels are great. I am not a fan of flying and really can't afford to romp around the globe. But in cyberspace I have no limits. Take care. luv ya, Trish
Hey Teresa, you *can* read those pages, it's quick and easy:
1. Open the webpage that's in a different language (for example, Swedish). Highlight and copy the url / website address.
2. Open a second browser tab or window, and go to www.google.com
3. Right next to the google searchbox are 3 text links ... click on Language Tools
4. Paste the url / webpage address of the page you would like translated into the box beneath the words "translate a web page."
5. Select the correct languages, and click on "translate."
There are many other tools available that do the same thing, including Babelfish, which has been around since the late
80s/early 90s. You can find them by doing a google search for "webpage translation."
Hugs,
Victoria
Loved stopping by your blog. What beautiful pictures & words. Loved the list of 50 days of simple pleasures. Think I'll try it too.
Blessings, Debra
I love Swedish blogs too. That one was just beautiful.
